Ratul puri New Delhi [India], March 26: India’s energy sector is undergoing a structural transformation, driven by the dual need for sustainability and long-term energy security. Within this evolving landscape, leadership in clean energy is increasingly defined not only by ambition but also by the ability to execute at scale. Under the leadership of Ratul Puri, Hindustan Power has shared a roadmap to build a 5 GW energy portfolio by 2028; an initiative defined by strong strategy and disciplined execution. The 5 GW vision is built on a balanced approach to energy development, integrating both renewable and transitional energy assets and requiring strong capabilities in project development, financing and on-ground execution. It aligns closely with India’s national target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030, while also incorporating emerging sustainable technologies to support the transition to a low-carbon future.
