I learned far more than I anticipated from the 200-hour yoga teacher program. Prior to enrolling in the course, my primary goals were to increase my yoga practice and flexibility. But the program fundamentally altered my perception of yoga by introducing me to meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, and anatomy. I discovered that yoga had a great impact on everyday routines, emotional wellness, and mental health. Every subject was patiently explained by the professors, who also urged us to advance at our own speed. I became more conscious of my breathing, thinking, and lifestyle decisions over time. After completing the course, I felt more connected to myself and had a greater understanding of the value of mindful living.
